“Green Mid-Autumn Festival Food Saving Pledge 2018” aims to promote green festival culture for the sake of reducing food waste and waste at source. To foster green shopping culture in Hong Kong, it encourages corporations to pledge to reduce waste at source in different ways. By joining this campaign, we promise to avoid giving mooncakes as gifts to business partners and refrain from receiving mooncakes from them. Before giving out mooncakes, we would get approval and advice on the quantity of mooncake from clients, businesses partners and employees to avoid surplus mooncakes. We highly encourage our employees to celebrate a green Mid-Autumn Festival with food waste reduction as a way to spreading the green consuming culture.
