Our colleagues have participated in the surplus food collection service group organized by the Food Grace, an NGO in Hong Kong aims at promoting food recycling service. Food Grace regularly collect unsold fresh food from market and distribute them to the elderly and underprivileged groups in community. Not only does the scheme help saving food, but it alleviates the financial burden of the underprivileged. By interacting with the volunteers, merchants and the neighbor, it enables our colleagues to understand more of the food waste situation. Not only did we send our caring to the needy, but we do have personal reflection regarding the food waste issue.
